Lithacodia muscosula (Guenée 1852)

Common name: listed here as ‘Larger mossy glyph.

Hodges #: 9047.

Identification: Rfw 11.1 mm, gray and black pattern with scattered ochre scales, fw venation quadrifid. Abdominal segments 3 and 4 with black dorsal tufts.

Similar species: 7189, 7235, 7399.

Distribution: southern Canada and eastern United States.

Hosts: Larvae feed on grasses in low areas.
