Tarachidia semiflava (Guenée 1852)

Common name: Half-yellow.

Hodges #: 9085.

Identification: Rfw 10.6 mm, fw outer half gray, inner half yellow, body vestiture of scales, proboscis without scales, tympanum on meta-thorax.

Similar species: 9101.

Distribution: United States east of the Rockies, southwestward into the Great basin.

Hosts: Only recorded host is Sarracenia flava L.– Yellow pitcher plant. Sarraceniaceae are not known from North Dakota.
