Tarachidia binocula (Grote 1875)

Common name: listed here as ‘Prairie bird-lime moth.’

Hodges#: 9089.

Identification: Rfw 9.6 mm, ground color white with darker markings, vfw fringe white or with inner most scale-row fuscous.

Similar species: 9090, 9095, and 9109.

Distribution: Great Plains, southwestward to Arizona, east of Mississippi on remnant prairies.

Hosts: unknown.
