The warmth of today and tomorrow is associated with a large storm system that is tracking through the northern Rocky Mountains. That system is pumping in some very warm air into the northern plains. At the same time snow in fairly low elevations for the time of year as well as abundant rain will fall in the mountains and high plains of Wyoming and Montana will be developing early next week. That storm system will be a slow mover and send out upper air disturbances ahead of it. This will be several precipitation chances in the coming days. None of the events look widespread but with many opportunities at least some rain is coming.
