Frosty Mornings

There was widespread frost yesterday, scattered frost this morning and there will also probably be areas near or below 32 degrees tomorrow.  Of course, none of this is unusual this time of year.   The average last freeze of the spring is on May 8 in Fargo.  Across northern North Dakota the average last freeze is May 20 to May 25.   Once we get past Saturday morning, the odds are that freezing temperatures will not occur again until the end of next week at the earliest.  There will likely be temperatures back into the 30s before the month is done, there often is that time of year, but at least we will catch a break for a few days early next week.
