Smoke

The fires continue to our west and northwest, so more smoke is expected to be in the air both today and tomorrow.  Saturday night into Sunday morning there will be a cold frontal passage that will hopefully change the upper level wind pattern enough to give us a break from the smoke threat for a few days.  But with these fires on going, I would guess we will have more smoke problems yet this summer.  That cold front passage this weekend will also provide for our best chance of rain widespread rain in quite some time.   With some many needing rain at the moment, the odds are many area will end up disappointed in the amounts which is often the case with rain.
