Slow Start

Most springs there are areas, or even states where planting is behind schedule.  This year, it isn’t just a region or a state, but pretty much the entire Midwest and the northern Plains combined that is off to a late start.  From Ohio to Montana, from the Canadian border to the central plains, Plant 19 is delayed.  Parts of Illinois in particular may be delayed another 2 weeks and certainly very little planting will occur in many parts of the upper Midwest this week.  Locally, there is precipitation in the area today, but the next several days look much better.  No doubt it’s been frustrating, but we are at least better off than other many other spots.
