The cold front that passed through on Wednesday Night was the beginning of a prolong period of below average temperatures. With those below average temperatures will also come multiple periods of precipitation. Today rain will move from west to east across North Dakota with locations south of Highway 2 being impacted the most. Some parts of far northern North Dakota will be missed. It may even be cold enough in southwestern North Dakota to record some snow, but generally it will just be a cold rain. If you’re participating in the Fargo marathon, it looks cloudy, cool and windy tomorrow morning with light rain more likely than not.
