September Science Café to examine mysterious honeybee illness
Published September 04, 2013
A mysterious illness is wiping out a significant percentage of honeybee colonies in the United States. An NDSU scientist will explain why this is happening and outline the challenges of restoring colony health.
The event is scheduled for Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. in Stokers Basement, Hotel Donaldson in Fargo. It’s free and open to the public.
“The pollination crisis is affecting agriculture nationwide,” Bowsher said. “And North Dakota has a central role to play.”
Attendees must be 21 or older or accompanied by a parent or guardian. For more information, contact Keri Drinka at firstname.lastname@example.org or 701-231-6131.
