Staff Senate invites all staff to attend the Discover U Fall Event, scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Memorial Union Plains Ballroom.

The featured speaker will be Rollie Johnson, director of mission and outreach for First Lutheran Church in Fargo. He will facilitate a session, titled “Becoming a Better U,” that is intended to provoke deeper thought on what it takes to become a better person.

In addition to his ministerial duties, Johnson is an accomplished writer who has had numerous articles published in national outdoor and hunting magazines.

Additional details and registration information can be found in the “Upcoming Events” section of the Staff Senate website at www.ndsu.edu/staff_senate/events_and_activities/#c288228.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation’s top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
