Transportation program offers graduate-level courses online

The Transportation Leadership Graduate Certificate program will offer online courses this spring. The award-winning, nationally recognized program offers online graduate-level courses for transportation professionals and prepares them as future leaders of the industry.

NDSU is one of five of the universities across the nation offering the courses, which are taught by leading faculty members.

The program is a post-baccalaureate certificate program sponsored by the Regional University Transportation Centers. Through the collaborative efforts of 60 university transportation centers and transportation industry professionals, the program offers high-quality instruction from transportation experts across the country. The universities offering courses for the current semester are NDSU, Kansas State University, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of South Florida.

The online course format provides a flexible and convenient education opportunity for busy professionals to advance in their careers. Some of the most prominent courses offered for the spring 2014 semester are Advanced Supply Chain Planning, High Speed Rail Engineering, Transportation and Land Use, Transportation Investment Decisions, and Transportation Systems courses.
