NDSU Opera is scheduled to present an evening of comic operas featuring “Gianni Schicchi” and “Trial by Jury” Friday, May 9, at NDSU's Festival Concert Hall. Show time is 7:30 p.m.
In Puccini's “Gianni Schicchi,” chaos ensues after a wealthy man dies and the family searches frantically for his will. “Trial by Jury,” like other Gilbert and Sullivan operas, lampoons contemporary society.
