SHARE

NDSU’s Department of Apparel, Design and Hospitality Management and the NDSU Office of Distance and Continuing Education are scheduled to host a live, online information session that introduces the new 16-credit, online apparel, retail merchandising and design undergraduate certificate. The session is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 19, at 3:30 p.m.

The free information session will discusses how to turn a passion for fashion into a career with the certificate, which is a useful tool for family and consumer science teachers or for persons who would like to teach apparel construction. The program also is an excellent introduction to apparel, fashion and retail merchandising for individuals who have a general interest in fashion or are involved in fashion retail.

The information session will provide key information needed to be successfully admitted into the program.

The session is part of a monthly series of information sessions intended to provide individuals with in-depth information about their degree of choice as well as an opportunity to interact with representatives from NDSU.

Anyone interested in the online undergraduate certificate in apparel, retail merchandising and design are invited to attend the live, online information session but pre-registration is required. For more information about program or to register for the information session, go to ndsu.me/dcearmdugc or call 701-231-7015.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
