Scholarship recognition luncheon scheduled

The NDSU College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources has scheduled its annual Scholarship Recognition Luncheon for Thursday, Nov. 6, at 11:30 a.m. in the Memorial Union Great Plains Ballroom. The event recognizes scholarship donors and recipients.

Scheduled speakers include President Dean L. Bresciani; Provost Beth Ingram; and Ken Grafton, vice president for agricultural affairs. Justin Bartholomay, a senior majoring in animal sciences from Sheldon, North Dakota, will represent student recipients, and Nancy Jo Bateman of the North Dakota Beef Commission Scholarship will represent scholarship donors. Jane Schuh, assistant dean, will introduce the donors and students.

The college has awarded nearly 400 scholarships this academic year.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
