Seminar to focus on equine-facilitated human discovery

Sara Sherman, a certified Equine Gestalt Life Coach, is scheduled to present a seminar on “Partnering with Horses to Raise Awareness, Shift Perspective and Embrace Change” Thursday, Nov. 6, at 12:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Prairie room. Attendees will learn about the field of equine-facilitated learning and hear how the speaker utilizes these practices to bring awareness, empowerment and healing to women. The event is free and open to all.

The seminar is sponsored through a collaboration of the NDSU Department of Animal Sciences, NDSU Counseling Center, Department of Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science, and the Equity and Diversity Center.
