Celebration of agriculture scheduled for April 13-18

SHARE

Students from the NDSU College of Agriculture, Food Systems and Natural Resources have scheduled several campus events to celebrate Ag Week 2015 during April 13-18.

The week will be highlighted by an awards banquet, social and dinner on April 17 at 5:30 p.m. in the Biltmore Hotel in Fargo. Other events include a cookout on the lawn of Shepperd Arena, booths with agriculture facts and prizes in Memorial Union, a movie in Century Theater, an Ag Olympics and a 5K run through campus.

The event was created this year by the NDSU Ag Week Coalition to celebrate the history of agriculture and enhance the knowledge of agriculture on campus. The coalition represents nearly all of NDSU’s 32 agricultural student organizations.

National Ag Week is March 16-20.
