Applicants sought to teach in the Netherlands

SHARE

Faculty applications are being sought to teach in the Netherlands at the Middelburg Center for Transatlantic Studies during fall 2009 or spring 2010.

The program is divided into two semesters with classes offered on a three and one-half week basis. Courses from the social sciences, humanities, fine arts and business are appropriate as long as the course includes a comparative, trans-Atlantic approach. Faculty members also are encouraged to include field trips and a variety of teaching techniques.

There are several courses offered in each block and students select one course from these options for a total of four courses per semester. The teaching schedule allows faculty to participate who otherwise could not due to department or family responsibilities.

Applications for summer 2009 are still being accepted.

Applications are available at www.transatlanticstudies.org. For more information on MCTS, visit www.ndsu.edu/international/faculty_scholars/teach_abroad or contact Kerri Spiering from the Office of Equity, Diversity and Global Outreach at 1-8166 or kerri.spiering@ndsu.edu.
