Graduate student publishes banking industry paper

A paper written by NDSU transportation and logistics doctoral student Sardar Zahid was recently published by the International Journal of Economics and Finance.

The paper, “Capital Adequacy Behavior: Empirical Evidence from Banking Sector of Pakistan” focuses on the capital adequacy behavior of the banking industry in Pakistan from 2004 to 2009. The paper explores how institutions react to changes in regulatory capital requirements changes.

The International Journal of Economics and Finance is published monthly by the Canadian Center of Science and Education to promote scholarly exchange among teachers and researchers in economics, financial economics and finance.
