SHARE

The NDSU Collaborative Technology Think Tank is seeking social media proposals for 15-minute talks, 45-minute panels and Second Life presentations for NDSU’s second annual Social Media Conference. The conference is scheduled for Monday, April 6.

According to secondlife.com, Second Life is a 3-D virtual world opened to the public in 2003. Its users, called residents, develop digital beings called avatars that can buy, sell, trade and share experiences with others.

Proposals should be no longer than 200 words and should plan a 45-minute panel, 45-minute roundtable or 15-minute presentation. Presenters also may propose in-person or Second Life presentations.

Send e-mail proposals to Andrew Mara at andrew.mara@ndsu.edu by Saturday, Feb. 14.
