NDSU’s 800 Café is scheduled to serve an "end of tax season" lunch Thursday, April 14, and Friday, April 15, in the Food Production Complex on the third floor of the Katherine K. Burgum Family Life Center. Seating will be from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

The menu for the meal is below:

·  Fresh garden salad topped with a homemade poppy seed dressing.

·  Oven-roasted turkey garnished with parsley, garlic mashed potatoes and gravy.

·  Apple blueberry crisp with a dollop of vanilla Greek yogurt and a blueberry.

Dietetics students Cassandra Pedersen and Makenzie Forward will manage the meal with the help of their classmates.

The cost is $10 per person and includes beverages. Four-meal punch cards are available for $35. Cash or check are acceptable forms of payment.

Walk-ins are welcomed, but reservations are preferred due to limited seating. The café is open to the public and parking is available in NDSU’s visitor lot.

The 800 Café is operated by NDSU dietetic students and will be open for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays, March 3 through May 6. Sherri Nordstrom Stastny, associate professor of health, nutrition and exercise sciences, is the class instructor.
