SHARE

Residence Life hosted the annual recognition banquet April 8 to celebrate contributions made by resident advisers, staff and faculty. Honorees had been nominated by housing staff because of the impact they had on their community and the Department of Residence Life. Five awards were distributed:

• Hannah Konrad, a resident adviser in Dinan Hall, received the Returning Staff Member of the Year Award.

• Kendra Woodstead, a resident adviser in Burgum Hall, received the New Staff Member of the Year Award.

• Gina Kelly, assistant professor of sociology, received the Faculty in Residence Education Award

• Dinan second floor received the Community of the Year Award.

•Bunnie Johnson-Messelt, Disability Services director, received the Prakash Mathew Distinguished Service Award

The Prakash Mathew Distinguished Service award is named in honor of the former NDSU vice president of student affairs and past director of Residence Life. The award is not an annual award; instead it is reserved for individuals who have made significant contributions over many years.

As a student-focused, land-grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
