Diverse student population workshop planned

A workshop titled “Diverse Student Population in the Classroom - Enhancing Inclusiveness” is planned for Wednesday, March 4, at 3 p.m. in Van Es room 1010. The faculty development committee in the College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources has planned the event.

Evie Myers, vice president for equity, diversity and global outreach, is the introductory speaker. A panel discussion will follow. Panel members include Eugene Berry, veterinary and microbiological sciences; Kara Gravley-Stack, outreach coordinator in the office of equity and diversity; Lisa Hauck, director of the office of international programs; Suranjan Panigrahi, agricultural and biosystems engineering; and David Wittrock, dean of graduate and interdisciplinary studies.
