The NDSU volleyball team has been honored with the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the 2015-16 season, the organization announced July 25.
The Bison received the award for the fourth consecutive year and for the 16th time overall. The award was initiated during the 1992-93 academic year to honor collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. A record-high 762 programs were honored this year.
