NDSU will host the annual American Society of Civil Engineers student chapter conference and Steel Bridge Competition on March 20-21. The conference will be held on Friday, and the Steel Bridge Competition will begin on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Fargodome.
Students and steel bridge competitors from NDSU, University of Minnesota, Minnesota State University Mankato, Iowa State, University of Iowa, South Dakota State University, University of North Dakota, University of Wisconsin Plattville and Lakehead University will attend the conference and competition.
Several speakers and a banquet are scheduled for the conference. Competition events include aesthetics judging, timed construction and load testing.
