Science, Religion and Lunch Seminar series announced

Upcoming September speakers and topics for the Science, Religion and Lunch Seminar series have been announced. They are:

• Swami Sarvapriyananda, “Who am I? Consciousness, Self and Identity in Advaita,” Tuesday, Sept. 13, at noon in the Memorial Union Badlands room.

• Syed Ahmad, “What Has Islam to Say About the Political Struggles of Man?” Tuesday, Sept. 20, at noon in the Memorial Union Badlands room.

• Dogan Comez, “A Look at the Failed Coup d’Etat in Turkey,” Tuesday, Sept. 27, at noon in Memorial Union Badlands room.

The seminar series examines controversial topics in science, religion, pseudo-science and pseudo-religion. Presentations are limited to 40 minutes to ensure at least 20 minutes for discussion. If you are interested in speaking, contact Davis Cope at 701-293-7188 or davis.cope@ndsu.edu.
