Hospitality students to host upscale dinner

SHARE

Students from the NDSU hospitality and tourism management program will prepare an elegant four-course meal on Thursday, April 23, at the Alumni Center. The students are coordinating the event for their Restaurant Operations Management course, taught by Andrea Baumgardner and Peter Kelly.

The meal will begin with tuna and avocado tatare, followed by a frisée salad with apples, dried cherries and walnuts. The entrée will be red wine braised beef accompanied by creamy polenta and roasted baby vegetables. The meal will end with a dessert of chocolate-espresso mousse served in a hazelnut phyllo cup and garnished with bananas and caramel sauce.

Reservations will be taken until Monday, April 20, at noon. The price of the meal is $38 per person, with seating times available 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For reservations, contact Linda Wiedmann 231-7351 or linda.wiedmann@ndsu.edu.
