SHARE

NDSU students, faculty, staff and campus visitors will soon be able to use their mobile phones to manage their parking time in the university’s metered lots. A new parking app is schedule to launch Tuesday, Jan. 10.

The new tool is the result of student requests. They expressed interest in using technology to manage parking on campus. The new parking app allows users to:

• Buy parking using a debit or credit card

• Monitor parking time by mobile phone

• Extend parking remotely (up to the maximum allowed time)

• View all parking history

The app will allow users to pay by minutes or hours in the Memorial Union, Visitor, Wellness Center and T2 parking lots. Employees and students who need long-term campus parking will continue to use permits in their designated lots.

The same parking app is available for City of Fargo lots.

Search “PassportParking” in the App Store or Google Play to get the free app. Users can also manage their parking online at ppprk.com.
