A pair of NDSU students earned 2017-18 Excellence Awards for use toward their master’s degrees. The $1,000 scholarships, awarded July 1, are from Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance.

Trisha Miller is studying for her master’s degree in youth development through the Department of Human Development and Family Science. She is set to graduate in December.

Janice Edwards is a master’s student in community development through the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.

Scholarship recipients are attaining a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or certificate in a Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance degree program from a Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance member university. The organization’s governing cabinet reviewed the students’ goals and granted the awards.
