Army big band to give NDSU concert

The NDSU Challey School of Music and Forum Communications are set to host a free concert by the internationally acclaimed Jazz Ambassadors on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 7:30 p.m. in Festival Concert Hall.

The 19-member Jazz Ambassadors are the official touring big band of the U.S. Army, and the group is based in Washington, D.C. The band's repertoire includes big band swing, bebop, Latin, contemporary jazz, standards, popular tunes, Dixieland, vocals and patriotic selections.
