Seminar to feature behavioral ecologist

The NDSU Department of Biological Sciences and co-sponsor USDA-APHIS-WS National Wildlife Research Center are set to host a seminar by John Swaddle, professor of biology at the College of William Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia.

Swaddle is scheduled to present “Applications of Sensory Ecology to Reduce Conflict between Birds and Humans” Friday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m. in Loftsgard 114.

Everyone is welcome.

Swaddle joined the College of William and Mary in 2001. He was a visiting research associate at the University Exeter, United Kingdom, in 2015-16. Swaddle earned his bachelor’s degree and his doctorate in behavioral ecology at the University of Bristol, United Kingdom.
