NDSU has received gold status for its 2017-18 Military Friendly School designation. The list, which is in its 16th year, was released by Victory Media. It provides a comprehensive guide for veterans and their families using data sources from federal agencies, veteran students and proprietary survey information from participating organizations.

“We are pleased NDSU is designated ‘Military Friendly’ for another year,” said Scott Fuller, military and veteran representative from the NDSU Office of Registration and Records. “As a student-focused university, our goal is to provide first-class service for every student. We continue to take great pride in serving our 500-plus benefited students.”

More than 1,300 schools participated in the 2017-2018 survey, with 849 earning the designation.

Daniel Nichols, Victory Media chief product officer, said, “Our ability to apply a clear, consistent standard to colleges creates a competitive atmosphere that encourages colleges to invest in programs to provide educational outcomes that are better for veterans.”

The schools list will be published in the December issue of G.I. Jobs magazine and can be found online.
