Klai Hall opened this morning for students, faculty and staff. Classes scheduled after 4 p.m. will be held.
The excavation contractor working at the Klai Hall site successfully completed their work this past weekend. They found no underground tanks. There were several old metal lines discovered, but no further contamination.
The alley between Klai Hall and the Sons of Norway parking lot had some sections removed, so this can no longer be used for access to the parking lot on the north side of Klai Hall. Access to this lot can only be from 7th street.
The construction of the new parking lot and site work between Klai Hall and Barry Hall will resume this week without any further restrictions.
