Ingram, a professor of agribusiness and applied economics, earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics at the University of Iowa and her doctorate in economics from the University of Minnesota. Before joining NDSU, she held several administrative positions at the University of Iowa.

The organization focuses on issues shared throughout academic affairs in higher education, regardless of institutional mission and coordinates its activities with the American Council on Education, known as ACE. It is based in North Palm Beach, Florida.
