A new national survey finds the NDSU College of Engineering is one of the best schools in the country for women in engineering. Woman Engineer magazine ranked NDSU a “Top 50 University Fostering Diversity and Inclusion” and a “Top 25 Graduate School Fostering Diversity and Inclusion.”

The lists, selected by an annual survey of Woman Engineer readers, recognize schools that offer a diversified curriculum, student base and faculty, as well as foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment in engineering, especially for women in engineering.

“At NDSU, we are committed to ensuring that all voices are heard and that everyone has a chance to contribute,” said Michael Kessler, dean of engineering. “In fact, one of our core values at the college is to be proactive about diversity, knowing that we are far better together.”

The College of Engineering supports several student groups for women and minorities, including the Society of Women Engineers, American Indian Science and Engineering Society and the National Society of Black Engineers.

As a student-focused, land grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
