The NDSU Research and Technology Park’s Innovation Challenge Pitch Night is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 17, at 6 p.m. in the Harry D. McGovern Alumni Center. Students can enjoy free pizza, win prizes and network with other students and community members.
The goal of Pitch Night is to encourage students to share their entrepreneurial ideas and link them with people whose talents and knowledge would be a useful asset to their team.
NDSU alumnus Jake Joraanstad, Myriad Mobile CEO, will emcee the event and facilitate activities. Joraanstad earned his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering in 2012.
Prizes will be offered throughout the evening, with the winners of the social media drawing being announced. Students will have until the end of the event on Jan. 17 to like the NDSU Research and Technology Park’s Facebook page or follow the @NDSUTechPark on Twitter to be entered to win $50 cash. Local restaurants have donated gift cards and other items, Y94 has donated P!NK tickets and the park will offer grand prizes of an iPad and Fitbit.
