The NDSU Libraries will conduct a survey of its users, utilizing a well-known assessment tool called LibQUAL+.
The tool is designed specifically for libraries to assess service quality in three dimensions: Effect of Service, Information Control and Library as Place. For each item, users can indicate their minimum service level, desired service level and perceived service performance. The results of the survey will provide a baseline snapshot of libraries’ services now and allow library administrators to see how services develop over time as surveys are repeated in the future.
The survey will be distributed to a random sampling of faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students on Monday, Feb. 11, and should take no more than a few minutes to complete. Email addresses will be kept confidential and will not be linked to responses. Students who complete the survey will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for an Amazon gift card.
As a student-focused, land-grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
