The Department of Residence Life hosted a celebration banquet on April 18. Focusing on students, faculty and staff, individuals whose contributions have a lasting impact on students and who have contributed to another successful year in residence life were recognized at the banquet.
Sherri Stastny, assistant professor of health, nutrition and exercise sciences, was named Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year. She was nominated for the award based on her excellent work as Faculty Mentor for the Wellness Community in Seim Hall.
Jackie Schluchter, associate director of Orientation and Student Success, was given the Residence Life Distinguished Service Award, in recognition of her years of collaboration and partnership with the department.
