Kapplinger prints on display

Kent Kapplinger, associate professor of visual arts, will display two prints in “Prolific Impressions: Printmaking Now,” May 8-23 at the climate/gallery LLC in Long Island, N.Y. The artwork includes “Backyard II” and “Journey.”

Kapplinger teaches printmaking and drawing, and directs the Printmaking Education and Research Studio (PEARS) and Art Bank rental programs.

His work has been shown in more than 150 individual and group exhibitions and can be seen in more than 25 public and corporate collections, including Johnson & Johnson Co. in New Jersey, Thrivent Financial in Minnesota, The Print Consortium in Kansas and the U.S. Art in Embassy Program in Washington, D.C.
