Littlefield to be installed as Lions Club district governor

Robert S. Littlefield, professor of communication, will be installed as one of 734 district governors at the 93rd Lions Clubs International Convention to be held June 28 to July 2 in Sydney, Australia.

For one year, Littlefield will oversee approximately 60 Lions clubs and nearly 1,600 Lions members in district 5-NE, which includes eastern North Dakota. Littlefield also will serve on the Lions Foundation of North Dakota and Lions Eye Bank of North Dakota.

Littlefield joined NDSU in 1983, and has served as department chair, interim dean of humanities and social sciences and received the Chamber of Commerce NDSU Distinguished Professor Award in 2009.
