Wildflower Hair and Fashion Show planned at NDSU

SHARE

Members of Pavek Hall and the Residence Hall Association at North Dakota State University have teamed up with Wildflower Aveda Salon and Vanity to offer a hair and fashion show on Tuesday, March 9, at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Union Great Plains room. Organizers also have planned a model call on Tuesday, March 2, at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Union Hidatsa room. Both events are free and open to the public.

The model call is for people who are interested in participating in the fashion show or donating their hair to Locks-of-Love. Participants can win a haircut, style or color by the Wildflower Aveda Salon. Locks-of-Love is an organization that makes and provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children affected by long-term medical hair loss. To donate, you must have 10 or more inches of hair.

The Wildflower Hair and Fashion Show will exhibit new spring looks. Vanity will give away coupons to the first 200 attendees and there will be food and drawings for prizes. Organizers also will be accepting donations for Locks-of-Love at this event.
