North Dakota State University athletics will be holding its ninth Annual Endowment Recognition Banquet at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28 at the Ramada Plaza Suites. NDSU associate athletic director for development Amy Ruley made the announcement today.
This event provides an opportunity for North Dakota State University and Bison athletics to recognize and thank the donors, who have established endowments and scholarships for student athletes.
In the 2010-11 academic year, nearly $3 million dollars have been donated through endowments, scholarships and Team Maker giving -- all going toward scholarships for many of the approximately 400 student-athletes competing at NDSU.
Student-athletes will have an opportunity to meet over lunch and thank the donors who have made possible their gifts.
