Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources scholarship recognition luncheon scheduled

The 2010 College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources scholarship recognition luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 4, at 11:30 a.m. in the Memorial Union Great Plains Ballroom. The annual event honors scholarship donors for their contributions and scholarship recipients for their achievements. Each year more than 360 scholarships are awarded by the college. Letters of invitation have been sent to all students receiving scholarships, scholarship donors and college faculty.

Scheduled to speak at the event are R. Craig Schnell, provost and vice president for academic affairs; Kenneth Grafton, dean of the college and director of the N.D. Agricultural Experiment Station; Ryan Stepan, senior in microbiology from Eagan, Minn., representing student recipients; and Stephen Valenti, Monsanto Co., representing scholarship donors.
