The NDSU Alumni Association received three awards at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VI conference held Jan. 9-11 in Kansas City, Mo.

“This recognition is due to strong collaborative programming efforts across campus. Without support and commitment from agriculture, athletics, student government and university relations, these accolades would not have been achieved,” said Sherri Schmidt, Alumni Association associate executive director. “We accept these awards on behalf of the university community.”

The group received a gold award in the Excellence in Alumni Programming, Student Advancement Programming category for its “Bison Spirit Challenge.”

NDSU received another gold in Excellence in Alumni Programming, Homecoming/Reunions/Parent Programming for “Harvest Bowl: A Salute to Agriculture and Athletics.”

The association also was acknowledged with a silver award in the Excellence in Alumni Web Sites, Electronic Newsletter for Alumni category for “NDSU Alumni President's Message.”

The district includes institutions of higher learning from North Dakota, Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.
