The Japanese Student Association is collecting donations for victims of the major earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan March 11. The group will have a booth in the Memorial Union by the Bison Connection counter until April 1.
The association also will have a donation box at some International Week events, including the International Expo Monday, March 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Plains room; the International Tea Festival Thursday, March 31, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Equity and Diversity Center; and International Night Friday, April 1, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Festival Concert Hall.
The student group started collecting donations, Tuesday, March 22. The donations will go to the American Red Cross. For more information about the Red Cross, visit www.redcross.org.
