NDSU’s Rocky Kreuser was named to the five-man Academic All-League Team for the 2020-21 men’s basketball season. It is the third consecutive year he has earned the recognition.

The team was announced April 7.

Kreuser, from White Bear Lake, Minnesota, owns a 3.62 cumulative GPA as a university studies major with minors in psychology and criminal justice.

Kreuser was named to the All-Summit League first team and the NABC All-District 12 second team this season. He averaged 15.7 points and 7.0 rebounds, and had a career-high 34 points in the championship game of the Summit League Tournament.

The team is voted on by the league’s faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors. Student-athletes were chosen for the honor based on their academic and athletic performances this season. To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30, with at least one full academic year completed at the current institution.
