NDSU presidential search committee announced

The North Dakota University System has launched a search for the next NDSU president.

The 13-member search committee represents NDSU stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, alumni and the business community.

Co-chairing the NDSU Presidential Search Committee are Jill Louters, State Board of Higher Education vice chair, and Greg Lardy, NDSU vice president for agricultural affairs; dean of the College of Agriculture, Food Systems and Natural Resources; director of the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station and director of NDSU Extension.

“I’m looking forward to working with the search committee and the larger campus community to help identify the next leader for NDSU,” Lardy said. “We want to identify a leader who can carry forward the positive momentum the campus has built under President Bresciani’s leadership."

Other committee members include:

• Stacey Ackerman, NDSU alumnus and managing director for Abbot Downing

• Barry Batcheller, NDSU alumnus and board chair at Appareo Systems

• Peggy Cossette, assistant to the dean, College of Human Science and Education

• Carin Engler, administrative clerk, Residence Life

• David Goodin, NDSU alumnus and president and CEO for MDU Resources

• Kayla Jones, NDSU student, president of the Black Students Association

• Kalpana Katti, University Distinguished Professor, College of Engineering

• Charles Peterson, dean of the College of Health Professions

• Elizabeth Skoy, associate professor of pharmacy practice, College of Health Professions

• Steve Swiontek, NDSU alumnus and board chair for Gate City Bank

• Alyssa Teubner, NDSU doctoral student and assistant director of New Student Programs

Ex-officio members of the committee include NDUS Chancellor Mark Hagerott and NDSU Foundation president and CEO John Glover.
