Voice-over artist visits NDSU Theatre

NDSU Department of Theatre Arts hosted voice-over artist Jobe Cerny Oct. 18. He met with theatre students to discuss his life, business and voice-over work.

Cerny is best known as the voice of the Pillsbury Doughboy, but also has been heard as a Kellogg’s Raisin Bran’s Talking Raisin, a Raid Bug or seen as the silent guy in the Cheer commercials. He also is the president of Cerny/American Creative, a resource that provides casting, artistic direction and sound design for advertising agencies and film companies.
