The women chosen for scholarships include Taylor Headlee, Nisswa, Minn., a junior majoring in electrical engineering; Breanne Steffan, Fargo, a senior majoring in microbiology; and Amanda Weber, St. Paul, Minn., a senior double-majoring in civil engineering and international studies.

Scholarship recipients must be a junior from North Dakota, South Dakota or Minnesota with a 3.2 GPA or higher. Scholarships are awarded to NDSU women based on academic achievements and personal qualifications.

The NDSU Women’s Club was established in 1920 to serve as a nonprofit educational organization to enhance relationships within the university and surrounding communities. The club offers interest group opportunities for the members and provides academic scholarships to eligible NDSU students.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation’s top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
