Office of Registration and Records announces new hires

The Office of Registration and Records recently welcomed two new professionals to its staff.

Marie Gordon joined the office as a programmer/analyst in June. She will write queries and oversee data requests, statistics and reports for the Office of Registration and Records, work with assessment and assist with academic advising report functionality.

A native of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Gordon earned her baccalaureate degree in mathematics from the University of South Florida, Tampa, and a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University. Before joining NDSU, she was a senior circulation analyst at Swanson Health Products, Fargo.

Cole Davidson was named assistant registrar in August. Davidson will be responsible for policies and procedures related to transfer, test and general education credit in the Office of Registration and Records, oversee academic record maintenance and modifications, coordinate placement procedures and assist with publications.

Davidson earned both a bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration from NDSU. He is from Stanley, N.D., and previously worked as a hall director in NDSU’s Department of Residence Life.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
