North Dakota State University president Dean L. Bresciani has issued the following statement in support of academic freedom and faculty research.
"As one of our nation’s preeminent research universities, NDSU is unflaggingly committed to the principle of academic freedom which is so central to the discovery process. I continue to support and encourage the outstanding scholarly activity of our faculty." he said. "I also support the importance of providing young North Dakotans with the most effective possible educational programs, and I am pleased that NDSU does so in so many academic disciplines and fields of study."
